Terms of Service

By creating an account or using the Cinly app or website, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

You must be at least 13 years old to use Cinly. By creating an account you confirm that you meet this requirement and that the age information you provide during onboarding is accurate — it is used to apply content filters.

You are responsible for all activity on your account and for keeping your sign-in credentials secure. Provide accurate information when registering and keep it up to date. Cinly Points, referral rewards and any subscription benefits are tied to your account, are not transferable, and have no cash value. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

You agree not to:

• use the service for any unlawful purpose or to stream, share or promote illegal content;
• circumvent, disable or interfere with the app's URL checks, content filters or other technical restrictions;
• attempt to access other users' accounts or data;
• abuse the points or referral program (including through automated or duplicate accounts);
• scrape, harvest or bulk-download content from the service;
• upload content that is abusive, infringing or otherwise unlawful.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Co-Watch synchronizes playback of streams that you provide. Cinly does not host, store or supply any video content — you supply the stream URL, and you are solely responsible for it. You must have the necessary rights or permissions for any content you stream in a room, and for any subtitle files you attach. Room state is transient and rooms may be closed at any time. We may terminate Co-Watch access for users who repeatedly stream infringing or illegal content.

The Cinly app, website, branding and design are our property and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Movie, anime and series titles, posters, artwork and metadata are provided by third-party sources (such as TMDB, Jikan and AniList) and belong to their respective rights holders; they are used for informational purposes. Content you submit (such as your profile) remains yours — you grant us a non-exclusive license to store and display it as part of operating the service.

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure, or that title metadata, ratings, release dates and countdown timers are accurate — they come from third-party sources and can change without notice.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cinly and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the service — including content streamed by users through Co-Watch. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

We may update these terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will notify you in the app or by email before they take effect. Continued use of the service after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
